Subconscious Mind Training Series Part 1: Asking the Right Questions

How Do We Take Control of Our Subconscious Mind?

In my personal dealings with people there is no one who does not yearn for success, a better life, and a feeling of significance to the people they love. Though with that being the case there are relatively few people who have really attained this kind of success. If so many people want it then why do so few people actually have it? The answer lies in the depths of the subconscious mind.

There are many lessons we learned as young children, some of them actually damaging even our greatest efforts at achieving our desires. There are people who have learned various “lessons” that have actually left very deep emotional scars, and when they try to do something against what they learned at that tender age, even when consciously they know it would greatly benefit themselves and those they care about, their subconscious goes into panic mode, takes complete control of what would normally be rational thought, and thoroughly sabotages anything that violates that painful lesson in whatever creative way it can find, which further strengthens that “lesson,” causing further, deeper pain in their lives.

I know this, because I have gone through this myself.

Over the years I have been deeply intrigued by the subconscious mind and what truly makes it tick. This is what the most successful people on the planet know; how to take control of their subconscious mind. They leave almost nothing to chance, especially the space between their ears.

This series will be focusing on the different things that the subconscious mind responds to, why you may not have up to this point been able to get what you really want out of life, how to use this information to take control of that specific area of your subconscious mind, and finally, how to tie it all together to completely give your autopilot known as the subconscious mind completely new programming that helps you reach your desired destination, instead of just crashing into a brick wall.

Quick Disclaimer for this Subconscious Mind Training:

What follows in this subconscious mind training series is not magic that works right away; this is science. Do not expect magical results in 24 hours or less, but when consistently applied in the right direction over time you should notice miraculous results over time.

Subconscious Mind Influence #1: Questions.

Before I begin, I came across this piece of valuable knowledge form the book “The Secret Code of Success” by Noah St. John. I am still going through it at the time of this article, but what Noah says deeply challenges the traditional success teachings that have been passed down for well over a century, and he is extremely eloquent and very meticulous and scientific in his methods. Oh, and the book is an easy read as well. For more information about what you are about to read, I highly recommend picking up his book.

Since “The Secret” we as a culture have been thoroughly fixated on positive thinking and positive statements called affirmations. The major problem is that we tend to not believe these positive statements we keep saying to ourselves, especially when they clash so greatly with our current situation.

If you say “I am rich,” and you are struggling to put food in your stomach and gas in your car, let alone take care of all your other expenses, your subconsious mind (the one that’s really in charge here) laughs at you.

But, when you ASK yourself “Why am I so rich?” then your subconscious starts to look for reasons why you are so rich. This is the beauty part: you don’t have to consciously believe a question for it to be effective, because our minds are not designed to believe questions; they’re designed to seek the answers to the questions you bring forth!

Here Noah St. John, the creator of Afformations gives an awesome demo using the physical body why Afformations are far more powerful than what we have been taught up to this point.

It is likely that in the past that has also been our downfall. We may have even spouted affirmations like “I am rich,” “I am attractive to the opposite sex,” “I am bold and confident,” until we were blue in the face, but we would internally (or maybe even out loud) say things afterwards like “Why won’t this work for me?” Why am I still broke?” Why won’t women like me”? “After all these thing I tried to do to make myself a better person, why am I still a fuck up?!” and on and on and on. When we ask horrible questions, we tend to get equally horrible answers.

That is why starting right now you must be VERY careful with the questions you ask yourself, especially about yourself. When you start to ask questions that guide you toward the direction you want, it begins to change your subconscious mind in a powerful way. Now, when you start out every day asking yourself different, empowering questions your subconscious mind starts to go to work for you, seeking out the answers that lead you to becoming or inviting in your life what you desire.

Your Action Step for the day:

Write out as many empowering questions, especially those that directly conflict with your current situation, and begin reciting them daily. If you cannot do this out loud then simply reading them will do. However, the more of yourself you put into this process, as well as all of the rest of the areas we will discuss in later parts, the more effective all of the Action Steps will become.
