A couple of months ago I, like many other online entrepreneurs who relied heavily on SEO for internet lead generation, got absolutely crushed by the sweeping changes made with Google’s algorithms.

Here are some sites and services (some of which I never would’ve expected) that you can use right this minute to drive all kinds of traffic to your content, leads to your business, and commissions to your wallet.

Every one of these sites have search engines inside the sites themselves. Google is not the only game in town when it comes to specific search. Use this fact to your advantage as you post your content on these sites.

1. Article Sites

There are some specific article sites, like EZineArticles, GoArticles, ArticlesBase, and Buzzle that get all kinds of traffic on its own. These are, as of writing this post, the most popular article sites on the web.

2. Video Sites

There are some good sites like Vimeo, but there is no denying that YouTube reigns supreme in almost every single aspect, especially when it comes to raw eyeballs looking up content.

Also, if you just can’t quit Google, then posting YouTube videos is still one of the best methods available to easily rank (depending on the keyword, of course) on the first page of Google.

3. Forum Posts & Facebook Pages

This one can be a little more tricky. Forum posts and Facebook pages, tend to be very specific for the audiences they go for.

The best advice I can give is to go on Google to look for forums that are specific to your audience, and of course Facebook for specific pages, to find where your target audience likes to hang out.

One example I can give you is this: if you are looking for online entrepreneurs, people looking for the edge over their competition, then a great place for that group is a site called WarriorForums.

Forums are not a place you want to go for fast traffic. You need to build up your street cred before you even think of pitching any of your stuff. Give value by answering questions people have. If the answer lies in a product that you have, then by all means mention it.

KEY POINT: ASK for permission before you post a link on their site, their wall, or any other place that is their own space. People go on forums looking for value, not sales pitches. Give the people on the forums specific value, and if you have a product that specifically solves their problem, ask them if they want the link to the site.

Link spamming = bad, always.

4. Document Sharing Sites

Now, this particular section blew me away. There are some sites that popped up recently that appear to be taking the web by storm in ways I never thought possible. On top of that, marketers are bringing in leads and sales from these sites like crazy!

Here are some of those sites:

Docstoc.com & Box.net – These two sites you can upload documents in different formats, like PDFs, and share them on these sites. You will be surprised at how many searches these documents get.

Zinepal.com – This isn’t a document sharing site, this is a site you can use to take a blog post you did and convert it into a PDF so you can share it on Docstoc.com, Box.net, and the next site in the list called…

Slideshare.net – You cam put PDFs here as well, but they don’t get nearly as much traffic. Powerpoint presentations, on the other hand, get insane amounts of traffic here.

Slideshare.net is made for Powerpoint slides first and foremost. Put some good content here in the form of slides, and you wil be shocked at the traffic you can get with this site.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You can also share YouTube videos with your slides as well, so you could do a full-blown video using screen capture programs like Camtasia, or free ones like CamStudio, to record you doing a full presentation with the slides, uploading the video to YouTube, then sharing that video, along with your slides, on Slideshare.net.

Pinterest – This one kinda shocked me as well. There were other marketers using this and getting some good results already, but I had no clue that it was as powerful as it was.

This is a site where you post pictures, and other people share and favorite those pictures if they like it. Some of the pictures you could do could be quotes, pictures of something cool with a description and link below the picture, whatever it is you want to place on there.

Final Thoughts on Internet Lead Generation

If you got nailed by Google like I did, there is hope yet!

Keep in mind how much free traffic this can be to you. Again, my mentor and friend Rob Fore, who had been doing internet marketing and SEO for more than 10 years. Welcome to this In Depth Stiforp Review

Before we get started I want to make abundantly clear that I am NOT an affiliate with Stiforp in any way, shape, or form. So you can be sure that when you read this you really are getting a 3rd party perspective on what Stiforp is and what it really offers the marketplace.

What Stiforp Is

Stiforp appears to be promoting semi-customizable internet marketing tools for MLM distributors, from autoresponders, to capture pages, to generic scripts, and the list goes on, all for a fraction of the cost most of these tools would cost on their own. Their entire tool suite goes for $9.95 a month, which is half the cost of just the autoresponder alone when trying to get all of these tools on your own.

They also have flash videos set up for reps to use, but they’re all YouTube videos. None of them are being hosted by the company itself, which can spell huge problems if for some reason YouTube has a hair up their collective butt one day and they find some obscure reason in their terms and conditions to cancel that account. However, I can also see how that is keeping the cost of everything as low as it is. No hosting costs, as that can get insanely expensive for a company, but that move certainly doesn’t come without risks.

I did catch a YouTube video of a woman that goes through all the tools, and one that really caught my eye was the conference call bridge system that can fit up to 100 people on the call.

How You Get Paid in Stiforp

Stiforp uses a 2×14 forced matrix that I’m not even going to try to describe here. Typical Buzzwords in Stiforp’s Presentations

After being in the MLM industry for a few years you begin to pick out the different buzzwords thrown around all over the place by different companies, all the ones that can’t be verified in any real way. So let’s go through some of the ones I saw, and the different ways you can hopefully verify that what these people are saying is actually true:

“Fastest growing company” – I cringe every time I hear this, because literally everyone and their mother uses this claim. You want to see how big a company is REALLY growing? Go to one of their regional events and see how many butts they have in the seats. If you can barely fill a hotel conference room after almost a year in the business, the claim is BS. If, however, you have enough people going to where the company owners have to actually reserve a spot at a convention center or a stadium to hold all of those people that are coming from literally all over the world… well, then you have legs to stand on at that point. Here would be a good example of a fast growing company.

“Debt Free Company” – Who gives a shit? It’s great for peace of mind, but as far as it being in a marketing message, no one cares. Period.

“Proven track record” – Most every company I have ever seen, when they really have a proven track record of success, they wave that record around like a national flag, showing it off for the world to see. However, when trying to see what that proven track record was for Stiforp, I came out empty handed. Also, how big of a success record can you really have when you’re just a year old? To be honest, the only ones I have seen at this point to have huge success and growth in a company in less than a year of opening the door are these guys here.

My Experience to Being Exposed to Some of Stiforp’s Promotion Tools

Many of the capture pages I have seen here seem to be extremely generic, and widely varying in quality (though when you’re trying to create material for just about every MLM out there I can understand this.) They look like good, professional capture pages as far as appearance goes. All of them carried a very generic message of how joining their business will get them out of the rat race and into a life of abundance, However, there are some of these capture pages that are a little more targeted towards specific groups of people, like single moms, people in a travel MLM (or greatly enjoy travel,) etc. The presentations on these different pages range between 45 seconds to 8 minutes.

One interesting thing is that they have a video spokesperson come out on the bottom of the page and start talking. Some are generic, but I found one that aims more toward giving information about a health & wellness business. It’s good that they are branching out, because being too generic in your marketing can seriously blunt its effectiveness.

Stiforp and Their BBB Record

As of writing this article on October 10, 2012 I found absolutely no information on this company with the BBB. To me, this sends up HUGE red flags, especially when they’ve been doing business for about a year now.

Final Thoughts on Stiforp

At first glance, as a tool suite it would definitely be worth the money to have some of these services for your business. More and more MLM is starting to move toward the internet and something like this is really necessary in the evolution of MLM.

However, as a standalone income opportunity in and of itself, there have been problems with getting the pay plan demystified and decrypted. What happens is that most people never see the $8191.50 advertised on the site (especially if you never recruit a single person, like the ad claims you can.)

But I will say that when put in the hands of someone who really knows what to do with them, these tools really can help make a killing in someone’s MLM business, all for a fraction of the cost of any outside service. The best way to look at Stiforp is as a toolbox as opposed to an income opportunity. The tools that they have available for use in the back end, like the autoresponder and the conference call bridge are damn awesome in my opinion, especially for only $9.95 a month.

However, I do have to ask a few questions as far as how effective the capture pages are in converting.

First off, has the creator of these capture pages actually studied sales psychology? Have they built a successful internet marketing company outside of this company that sells these capture pages, regardless of how affordable they are? More importantly, have they ever had success in helping other people build THEIR internet marketing business? Most important of all, do they actually TEACH new people how to send traffic to their sales funnels so they can get the leads, so they can convert them into sales?

After digging into what Stiforp offers I noticed that there is no training of any kind on how to get people to these sales funnels. That is one massive omission from the system that will absolutely kill any hopes of success not just in Stiforp, but in any internet marketing or MLM business.

My final thought is this: if you want solid tools to use for your business after attracting people onto your team, such as autoresponders, team conference bridges, and all that cool stuff, then I recommend getting the tool suite that Stiforp offers.

A great deal of marketing messages for different systems on how to earn money from home are, for the most part, full BS; some by untrue claims, and others by omission of the facts.
